wake! by Digital Wallonia is a label dedicated to the digital creative community in Wallonia. Its main objective is to federate, promote and animate the Walloon players in digital creativity from various sectors, in particular content creators and suppliers of products and services. KIKK is a not-for-profit association dedicated to building bridges between the arts, science, culture and technology. It explores the artistic and economic implications of new technologies by organising events, staging exhibitions, supporting the production of artistic works and participating in the emergence of new projects.

The artists
Yann Deval
An interactive and motion designer since 2012, Yann Deval is developing ‘Chronica’, an immersive collective augmented reality XR experience about consciousness.
A specialist in XR, he combines design, programming, mediation and training in an interdisciplinary approach.
His work questions perception and the role of technology in exploring the human mind.
CHRONICA is an immersive experience that links millennia-old papermaking techniques and contemporary augmented reality technologies to explore themes of illness and healing processes.
Through the trajectory of a memory that the spectator extracts from his or her head, we will experience an introspective, tactile and sonic journey.
Laura Colmenares Guerra
A Colombian artist living in Belgium, she creates digital installations and narratives that question the links between society, the environment and territory.
Her works, which are often interactive, use technology to raise awareness of ecology and collective responsibilities.
She explores the notions of nature and language through sensory presentations that combine art and science.
Laura will present R€¥€R$€ , a 30′ VR piece that addresses pressing socio-environmental challenges in the Amazon Basin, critically examining deforestation and the exploitation of natural resources. Combining scientific research with immersive storytelling, it transforms complex ecological data into a virtual journey. Indigenous Territories and Protected Areas remain central, revealing tensions where cultural, environmental, and human dimensions rub against power, economics, and multinational interests in a climate-stressed context.
Sébastien Conard
Author and theorist, he explores conceptual comics at the crossroads of art, literature and graphic experimentation.
He runs the Echo Chamber conceptual archive and is a critical thinker on digital preservation.
His work examines the transformation of the comics medium in the digital age and the issues of distribution and access.
Ilan Manouach
Draughtsman, researcher and creator of Echo Chamber, Ilan Manouach studies synthetic comics generated by AI.
The author of numerous hybrid projects, he questions the cultural and economic effects of automation in comics.
He advocates a re-reading of the 9th art form using the tools of artificial intelligence and computational creativity.
Laurent de Sutter
Philosopher, publisher and teacher, he campaigns for a federated publishing system that pools resources between cultural structures.
Co-initiator of the Xenobooks project with Ilan Manouach, he proposes a collaborative model to resist editorial homogenisation.
He sees experimental comics as fertile ground for transnational and multilingual intellectual dissemination.
